Cybersecurity

Find and fix weaknesses, protect devices, email, and Microsoft 365, and keep watch.

The problem, and how we fix it

Do you know where you are exposed?

Devices, software, and accounts piled up over the years, and nobody is sure what needs patching or who can get in.

How we fix it: We assess your risks, rank weaknesses by severity, fix the important ones first, and keep watch with ongoing monitoring.

Today: Unknown and out of dateNext: Assessed, fixed, and watched

Illustrative example

Before

Illustrative example, before: laptops, a server, and a printer that are not on any list, out of date software, a former employee account still active, Microsoft 365 with password-only sign-in, a lookalike invoice email in the inbox, and nobody monitoring.DEVICES ON THE NETWORK????Not on any listUPDATES AND ACCOUNTSLaptop 07Out of dateFile serverOut of dateFormer employeeStill activeMicrosoft 365 sign-inPassword onlyInvoice overdue, pay todayLookalike sender, in the inbox!Nobody is watching

After

Illustrative example, after: a risk assessment and scan list every device, findings are ranked by severity with fixes checked off in order across servers, Microsoft 365, payments, email, and laptops, and a shield badge shows ongoing monitoring.Risk assessment and scanEvery device and account listedFINDINGS, BY SEVERITYHighPatch the file serverHighSign-in check for 365MedPayment approvalsMedBlock lookalike emailLowEncrypt laptopsNextOngoing monitoringRegular scans, plain reports

Who it's for

Businesses that run on Microsoft 365, laptops, and shared files, that want to know where they are exposed and fix the most important gaps first, often ahead of a customer or insurance questionnaire.

An illustrative example

An office with laptops, a file server, Microsoft 365, and online banking has no list of what is connected. We start with a risk assessment and a scan, rank what we find by severity, and work through the fixes with the team.

What better looks like: A clear picture of where you stand, a fix list worked through in order, and regular checks from then on.

Illustrative example. Not a customer project.

Sound familiar?

  • No current list of devices and software
  • Updates are applied when someone remembers
  • Former staff accounts still work, and some passwords are shared
  • Suspicious emails that look like real invoices reach inboxes
  • Nobody checks the systems between problems

What's included

  • Vulnerability assessment and management

Regular scans of your devices, software, and accounts, with findings ranked by severity and worked through in order.

  • Penetration testing

A controlled test of how someone could get in. The scope, timing, and rules are agreed in writing beforehand, and you get a plain report and fix list afterward.

  • Network and financial security

Firewall, Wi-Fi, and remote access settings reviewed, with tighter controls around accounting, banking, and payment approvals.

  • Endpoint security

Laptops, desktops, and phones kept updated, encrypted, and protected, with a current list of every device.

  • Cloud and Microsoft 365 security

Sign-in protection, sharing settings, and admin access in Microsoft 365 and your other cloud apps reviewed and tightened.

  • Email and phishing protection

Email filtering and sender checks set up to stop more lookalike messages, plus simple guidance so your team knows what to report.

  • Cybersecurity risk assessments

A plain review of where your business is most exposed, what to fix first, and a written plan you can follow.

Deliverables

What you leave with

  • A risk assessment and a written plan
  • A device, software, and account inventory
  • Findings ranked by severity, and a record of what was fixed
  • A penetration test report, when one is agreed
  • Regular monitoring reports

What this does not cover

  • Penetration tests run only within a scope, timing, and rules agreed in writing beforehand.
  • Coverage hours and response times are agreed in writing before work starts.
  • This is practical find-and-fix work, not a formal compliance audit.

How an engagement runs

Every engagement starts with a conversation, then a clear written scope.

  1. Understand

We look at how the work happens today and agree on the one problem to solve first.

  2. Agree the scope

You get a short written plan: what changes, what stays, and how we will check it worked.

  3. Build and check

We build in small steps and review each one with the people who will use it.

  4. Hand over

Your team gets plain notes and a walkthrough, so they can run it without us.

FAQs

Will this get in the way of daily work?

Scans and fixes are planned with you. Changes that need a restart are scheduled at a time that suits your team.

How does penetration testing work?

We agree in writing what is tested, when, and what is off limits before anything starts. Afterward you get a plain report and a fix list.

Do you fix everything at once?

No. We agree the most important items with you, fix those first, and work down the list from there.

Can you help with Microsoft 365 and email?

Yes. We review sign-in protection, sharing, and admin access in Microsoft 365, and set up email filtering and sender checks to cut down on phishing.

Is this a compliance audit?

No. It is practical work to find and fix weaknesses and keep watch. If you need a formal audit, we will say so plainly.
