Authors copy the model to move faster
A personal copy feels helpful until the definition of bookings changes and the copy does not. Training shows how to add a visual on the shared model and how to request a measure instead of exporting.

Power BI training is how analysts, report authors, and business users work from a governed model without forking it. The failure mode is familiar: someone downloads the data, rebuilds revenue, and forwards a file the refresh will never touch.
We teach the model you have, or the one we just handed over. Generic feature tours do not survive contact with your close calendar. Finance and revenue examples lead, using your definitions where we are allowed to use them, and labeled samples where we are not.
A personal copy feels helpful until the definition of bookings changes and the copy does not. Training shows how to add a visual on the shared model and how to request a measure instead of exporting.
If three links circulate, training is partly navigation: where the official pack lives, how to read the refresh time, and what to do when the total looks wrong on a Monday.
A manager who sees a smaller total than finance is often seeing the rule, not a bug. We show a finance view and a restricted view side by side so the difference is expected.
People paste measures from old posts that do not match your grain. We teach the measures you already trust and how to read them. New measures go through the owner, not through a forum recipe.
Hypothetical example. An analyst exports the revenue model to check a region. In this hypothetical, the export drops the credit rule that lives only in a measure, so the sheet is higher than the pack. Training uses that situation, with sample rows labeled as sample, to show why the measure has to stay in the model and how to ask for the cut instead.
Participants leave able to use the official reports, tell a refresh problem from a definition problem, and request a change without creating a second model.
Consumers, authors, and the people who own measures do not need the same hour. We split them so finance users are not sat through authoring tricks they should not use.
Filters, drill, and export, on the app leadership opens. Where we cannot use your model, the practice set is labeled as a sample and is not presented as your numbers.
How an author asks for a measure or a row rule, and who answers. The path is written down, not implied.
What a stale refresh looks like, what a security filter looks like, and what should be escalated rather than 'fixed' locally.
Training works best after a model exists. A Free Assessment is the right first step when you do not yet trust the report you would train on. We look at that report and say whether to fix it before anyone is taught to use it.
If the model is already the one you want people to adopt, say so when you contact us. We follow up within 2 business days.
No. It is enablement on the reports and model you use. We do not issue credentials, and we do not imply a status with Microsoft.
No. We teach the patterns in your model and the habits that keep definitions shared. A function catalog does not stop people from forking revenue.
They can hear the same definition of the metric. They should not share a lab that shows people how to edit the model. We split those parts.
When you want adoption of the official app, yes, with the access you grant. Sample exercises are labeled and kept separate from your published pack.
